Mahlon Larry Garner, age 75 of Pulaski, died Thursday at his lake home on the Tennessee River. He was born in Lester, Alabama.


Upon graduating from Giles County High School, he began his lifelong career in the auction and real estate business. Larry was an active member of Community Baptist Church in Ardmore, Alabama.


Visitation will be 1 until 5pm Saturday at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.


Services will start at 2:07pm Sunday in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.


Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski.


The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Giles County Public Library c/o 122 S. 2nd Street Pulaski, TN 38478 or The American Heart Association c/o American Heart Association ~ 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower Ste 400 Atlanta, Ga 30328.


Survivors include his wife, Beth Moore Garner, Sons, Larry Kenneth “Ken” and wife Frances Garner and Karl Moore and wife Angelina Garner, and several grandchildren, Uncle Loyd Garner, Sisters Linda Hamlett and Liz Mealer, sister-in-laws Johnnie Teague and Janet and husband Tony Todd, Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend, Donald Wayne Pylant.
