Vern Hilda Ward, age 79, died on Thursday,  in Southern TN Regional Health System, Pulaski.

She was born in Fort Thompson, South Dakota and  was retired from Frito Lay, and served in the Women’s Army Corp.

No services have been set at this time.

Survivors are:  sons, Don Ward of Juneau, Alaska, Lyndon Ward of Tampa, FL, daughters, Donna Edwards of Athens, AL, Patricia Baker of Pulaski, TN, brother, Bobby Kennedy of Lower Brule, SD, sisters, Pearl Colombe of Lower Brule, SD, Claudey Kennedy of Souix Falls, SD, grandchildren, Christopher Byrd, Tristan Fralix, Brennan Baker, Alexandria Ward, Chris Cohoon, Alyse Cohoon, Kate Cahoon, Christine Ward and Catherine Ward, 3 great grandchildren.
