Gary Gene Barnickle, Sr. of the Bodenham died Wednesday at NHC Healthcare Pulaski. He was born in Lawrenceburg and was 71 years old.

He was a life-long farmer in Giles County, and was retired from the Giles County Highway Department.

Visitation will be this evening from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Services will be 10:00am tomorrow in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McDonald officiating.

Burial will follow in Choates Creek Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, Tn. 37388.

He is survived by his, Wife, Jennie Sneed Barnickle of Pulaski, Son, Gene and wife Tangie Barnickle of Pulaski, Daughter, Sherry and husband Jason Sumners of Pulaski, Son, Tim and wife Lydia Barnickle of Pulaski, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters, Charlotte and husband Ray Watson and Barbara and husband Joe Luffman all of Lawrenceburg, Several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
