The Giles County Fair will be an opportunity to exhibit your talent.

The 68th annual Giles County Fair is set for Aug. 10-13 at the Giles Agri-Park. One of the main highlights is the various exhibits offered within the Family and Community Education, 4-H and Youth and Agriculture departments, said Giles Extension Leader Kevin Rose.

Some examples of exhibits include culinary, canning, woodworking, arts and crafts, clothing, flowers, fruits and vegetables, field crops, honey, country hams plus much more.

Livestock exhibits will once again be a part of the fair. The annual open and junior beef show is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 10. The open and junior sheep show is set for Sunday afternoon. Call the Extension Office at 363-3523 for more information on how to enter these shows.

Exhibits are open to anyone in Giles County unless otherwise stipulated in the Fair Catalog which can be picked up at the Extension Office.
