A Lynnville family is again hoping for closure three years after their loved one was shot and killed outside of their home.

Jim Grimes was killed while feeding the animals on his property along Buford Station Road three years ago.

According to Giles County authorities, they have a person of interest in the case, but they have yet to make an arrest.

Sheriff Kyle Helton and the Grimes family have vowed to never give up, saying several cold case groups have joined their search for a conclusion in the case.

A $1 million reward is still on the table for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in Jim’s case.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call the Giles County Sheriff’s Department at 931-638-2358 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
