The Nashville Predators clinched their ticket to the NHL Playoffs last night in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets but allowed them to secure the one point they needed to officially clinch.

Right now, the Predators are slated to be the sixth seed in the Western Conference, and if the standings hold over the next week would fact the Vancouver Canucks in the first round.

They are currently two games behind the Edmonton Oilers for the fifth seed and could potentially clinch that spot if they can win out the rest of their schedule.

Nashville faces the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, before finishing their regular season with their final home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday and then a trip to Pittsburgh to play the Penguins on Monday.
