The January-to-February unemployment rate decrease of six-tenths of a percentage point in Giles County was part of a statewide trend.

All 95 Tennessee counties experienced decreased unemployment rates in February.

Here’s the latest local numbers… Giles County, dropped from 3.2% to 2.6%, Lawrence County dropped from 3.5% to 3.0%, Lewis County 3.3% to 2.7%, Lincoln County 3.2% to 2.6%,  Marshall County 3.4% to 2.8%, Maury County 2.9% to 2.3%, and Wayne County 4.1% to 3.4%.
