A Florence man is facing 273 counts of possession of child pornography.

34-year-old Frederick Webster Coman was arrested Friday on a Lauderdale County grand jury indictment. Coman allegedly downloaded child porn images on his computer.

According to the indictment, the date of the occurrence was between July 28th, 2022 and November 21st, 2022.

Each count carries up to a 10-year prison sentence under Alabama law.

Coman is in the Lauderdale County Detention Facility on a $150,000 bond. He’s due back in court on April 9th.
