Country music star Morgan Wallen announced Thursday plans to open a six-story venue later this year to pay homage to his Tennessee roots.

Named after one of his hits, This Bar is a one-of-a-kind venue featuring a bar, restaurant and live music concept in downtown Nashville’s lower Broadway district.

“This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music,” Wallen said.

Wallen said the menu is being planned around some of his family favorites, bringing a piece of east Tennessee to Music City.

According to a news release, each level of This Bar will showcase photos and memorabilia from Wallen’s childhood and notable performances to date.

The 30,000-square-foot venue will feature three live music stages, six bars and an open-air rooftop.
