Local anglers fared well at the MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League on Lake Guntersville .

Boater Charlie Murphy of Columbia, Tennessee, caught a five-bass limit weighing 31 pounds, 6 ounces, Saturday to win the title and $6000.00

In the Strike King co-angler division, Cason Sanchez of Fayetteville, Tennessee caught five bass for a total of 17lbs 11oz, to win $1,000.

Dalynn Teeftaller of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, caught a bass that weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces to win the Berkley Big Bass co-angler award of $500.
