Three inmates were indicted after officials said Wednesday that they were involved in a prison fight that left another inmate with critical injuries.

Eric Rudd, 26, Anthony Clay, 38, and Zakkawanda Moss, 46, were charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Agents responded to the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning and found an inmate had been seriously hurt after a prison fight.

Officials said they believed Rudd, Clay and Moss were the attackers.

No other details were released.

According to online records, Moss has local ties, as he was sentenced to prison for six counts of first-degree murder in Lincoln County.
