A barn/home in Middle Tennessee was totally destroyed in a fire Friday.

Crews with the Maury County Fire Department responded to the blaze Friday on Parsons Bend Road near the Maury County Gun Club.

Firefighters arrived and found the semi-detached barn fully engulfed in flames and already collapsed.

The department says crews experienced extreme heat conditions on the second floor of the home.

The barn/home was a total loss.
