Customers of Tarpley Shop Utility District were notified on 01/18/2024 of a problem with our
drinking water and were advised to boil their water before using for consumption. We are
pleased to report that as of 02/02/2024 the problem has been corrected in all areas of our
district and it is no longer necessary to boil your water before using for consumption. We
apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Tarpley Shop Utility District has collected bacteriological samples and took pressure readings
throughout the impacted areas. In addition, the water pressure is back to normal readings and
all samples have been tested negative.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those
