The City of Elkton, Tennessee, will hold a public meeting at 5:30 pm, Thursday, February 8th, 2024, in the Elkton City Hall to discuss the Community Block Grant Program administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the program guidelines and solicit input from area residents regarding potential uses of Community Block Grant Program funds.

2024 Community Block Grant Program funds can be used for water and sewer system improvements, public health and safety projects (ambulances, fire trucks, clinics, EMS stations), community infrastructure projects (street improvements, drainage, flood mitigation), and community revitalization projects.

All residents or entities with projects are encouraged to attend this meeting or mail suggestions to Elkton City Recorder, Kasidy Pike.
