The City of Pulaski posted an update about its water situation on Facebook…

The tanks are filling up slowly. Our utility workers are out checking all meters, finding homes and businesses within the city that have leaks and cutting the meters off until the owners can get them repaired.

Please check any buildings that have water such as shops, garages, etc. If you find that your pipes are frozen, please shut your water off at the meter.

If you live in the city and need help shutting your meter off, please call (931)363-1209, this line is open 24/7 to the public.

If you live in the county and need help shutting your meter off, please contact your utility district. Failing to do this can result in water damage once your pipes thaw out.

The #1 question that everyone is asking…When will we have water? We cannot answer that at this moment. We are working not only daily, but hourly and as we get additional information we will update you.

We have not cut off water to any utility districts. Currently there are 17 counties and 28 water distribution facilities in the state of Tennessee under boil notices, so we are not the only ones in this situation. We are working closely with personnel from all utility districts to resolve this issue and appreciate your patience and understanding.
