Several people in Giles County have been without water for multiple days after frigid temperatures caused water main breaks and leaks last week.

The City of Pulaski said the repairs have been made, and its tanks are filling slowly, but its residents are being asked to boil their water before using it, and to conserve as much as possible.

The water system damage has impacted the county’s utility districts, which receive water from the city.

The South Giles Utility District said some of its customers on the northern side of their district may not get water until the end of this week.

The Pulaski Fire Department and South Giles Utility District, among others, are offering cases of water for people who need them.
