Details are still coming in and sketchy, but a murder investigation is being conducted in Lawrence County.

A Summertown man was found shot to death in a shop on Caldwell Road Saint Patrick's Day.

According to authorities, 25-year-old Patrick Barger was found deceased in a shop Friday.

Investigators have ruled the death a homicide. They’re currently investigating the incident, and developing leads.

The family of Barger says that his beloved pet conure (parrot) is missing. The family says that the bird has been a pet for almost seven years.
