There’s another scam circulating in Giles County, this time it has to do with non-payment of taxes.

If you receive a notice with the heading Tax Processing Unit, Internal Processing Service, Giles County, Public Judgment Records, This is a SCAM.

The notice will also ask for payment for Final Demand For Payment For Non-Payment of Taxes to the Federal Tax Authorities, and will give you a 1-800 number to call by 2/9/23.

It will also state Your Property Will be Seized, provide bogus numbers, debt amount, and your address.

Again, this is a SCAM…please notify the authorities if you receive this notice.
