A painting depicting a landmark Civil Rights trial held in Lawrence County will be unveiled Friday.

"Justice Served" is the painting's title and it has been commemorated by Bernice Davidson. The painting will be housed at the Lawrence County Courthouse but it will travel to schools and churches throughout the community.

The family of Gladys Stevenson, the woman depicted on the witness stand in the painting, will be at the unveiling that will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Courthouse at 240 West Gaines Street in Lawrenceburg.
