The University of Tennessee Southern has announced they will be extending the income level for the UT Promise scholarship allowing more students to be eligible for aid. The system announced plans to extend the household income level for UT Promise scholarship recipients from $50,000 to $60,000 annually. With the change, now more than half of all Tennesseans can qualify financially, which will give more working and middle class families additional help with tuition and fees. Students must qualify for the Hope Scholarship and meet the academic qualifications to be eligible. Find out more at Tennessee.edu/ut-promise.
