The production of “1776 the Musical" will be held each weekend in July at the STAAR Theatre at Antoinette Hall, opening Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
The funny, insightful and compelling musical drama is set during the summer the Declaration of Independence was written.
All seating is reserved, and tickets ranging in price from $10-$20 are on sale now at Pierchoski Law Firm and Estate Law located next door to STAAR Theatre.
Tammy Pierchoski, executive director of the non-profit STAAR Theatre, and her husband, Stan, are directing the production, which features a cast of 27 performers from Giles and surrounding counties. The all-volunteer effort includes MaryAnn Trimble as choreographer and Holly Aldridge as vocal director.
