The Lynnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen have agreed to save the town money by painting the remainder of Reid Community Theatre.

The theatre houses the Lynnville Branch of the Giles County Public Library.

In a recent meeting, Board members estimated the work could be done in two to three days.

Four bids, ranging from approximately $1,500 to $2,000 each, were received for the painting and were not voted on.

The motion by Alderman Patty Patterson, and approved by the board, was to paint and also pick up the paint.
