In recognition of Christmas and the New Year holiday businesses in the area have announced their closing schedule.

The Pulaski Street and Sanitation Department will be closed Wednesday, December 25th and January 1st.

The garbage from those days will be collected on the following Thursday, December 26th and January 2nd.

Pulaski Electric System will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Day.

All county offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24th until the 27th for Christmas and again on Monday, January 1st for New Year's.

The city of Pulaski offices will be closed on Christmas Day and on New Year's Day only.

The Giles County Help Center will close at noon Monday, December 23rd, and reopen Monday, December 30th. They will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 31st and January 1st and reopen Thursday, January 2nd.

The Senior Citizen center will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24th and 25th, in observance of Christmas and Tuesday and Wednesday, December 31st and January 1st in observance of New Year’s.

The Giles County Library will be closed for Christmas from December 24th until Thursday, December 26th and December 31st and January 1st for New Year's.

Giles County Schools will be closed from December 23rd until January 6th. Teachers have In-service and Work Day on January 2nd and 3rd.

Banks in Giles County and the Post Office will be closed Christmas and New Year's Day.
