A Lawrence County man was arrested last week after allegedly threatening a couple on Cemetery Road in Summertown.

According to reports, deputies were dispatched to a report of a male subject with a knife and a second subject was also allegedly on scene with a gun.

Arriving units spoke with the complaints who advised a male subject, identified as Michael Warren, 49, of Lawrencebrug, came to the residence and starting arguing and was holding a knife and also threw a 1/2 gallon of liquor through the front window.

A friend of the couple allegedly shot a gun into the ground to scare Warren off who ran into the woods.

Deputies searched the woods and located Warren who evaded.  No one admitted to having the gun nor would identify who shot at the ground.

Warren was arrested the next day and faces charges of aggravated assault, aggravated domestic assault, vandalism and resisting arrest.

A second subject at the property, 35 year old, Connie Derrick Blake, was also taken into custody for two active Circuit warrants and one active attachment for contempt.
