A traffic stop Monday night resulted in the arrest of an Ardmore man.

According to reports, Tennessee Highway Trooper David Hill, initiated a traffic stop just after 9 p.m.  and charged the driver, John David Stevenson, 27, with Driving under the Influence and Driving on Revoked License.

He was booked in the Giles County jail and bond was set at $1,750.

Stevenson is to appear in General Session Court on December 17th.
