Christmas cheer and plenty of snow will take over the Historic Downtown Pulaski Square Thursday night for the Second Annual Christmas Tree and Courthouse Lighting .

Events will begin at 4 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. around the Square with the tree and Courthouse lighting promptly at 7:30.

Take the children to meet live camels and donkeys as part of a live nativity scene or pay a visit to the Grinch.

In combination with the Downtown Mingle Jingle, merchants on the Square will take part in the event, staying open to help Christmas shoppers. Open houses and specials will be offered and, by visiting participating businesses everyone will be entered in a cash prize.

Downtown restaurants will be open, along with food trucks offering multiple fare options.

Christmas Trees will be available from The Well and the Temple of Praise Choir will perform.
