The Turner Center at Martin Methodist College is seeking proposals from rural United Methodist Churches and districts in Tennessee for two, one time grants up to five thousand dollars grants.

According to a press release, applications are now being accepted for the community transformation grant.

An application and list of eligible, rural congregations is available online.

The successful proposal should offer a creative program that shows a clear understanding of the context in which the church or district work will take place, offers a creative and meaningful approach to leading community transformation, and demonstrates a commitment to discovering the gifts of rural spaces.

Additionally, the successful proposal should meet all eligibility criteria, have evidence of support from key partners, and demonstrate a clear plan of how the grant will be implemented.

Grant proposals are due by January 1st.
