A Pulask man was arrested Sunday and charged with Statutory Rape.

DaShawn Lawrence Shyes, age 24, is being held in the Giles County Jail without bond on the rape charges.

According to arresting officer and Giles County Sheriff's Deputy Emmett Slone, this is an ongoing investigation and no details can be released other than he was charged and arrested.
