The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen granted approval during the monthly meeting for City Administrator Terry Harrison to research and begin the application process for a Tennessee Department of Transportation Traffic Signal Modernization Grant.

Traffic lights throughout Pulaski could get upgraded if the city is rewarded the state grant.

Harrison said he was looking at getting this money, working with the electric system and go through with the recommendation of what they think needs fixed.

The grant is valued at $250,000 and would be used to repair and upgrade selected intersections within the city.
