A single vehicle accident today (Thursday) sent two women and a child to the local hospital.

Witnesses said a Buick was traveling east on West College Street in front of White and Stafford when the driver veered left over correcting hitting a sign on the right side of highway.

"The child received head injuries and was in a car seat, but not buckled in", said the witness.

All three people were taken by EMS to Southern Regional Health System with injuries.

Pulaski Police Department is investigating the 9:30 a.m. accident.
