Members of the Lawrenceburg fire department responded to a residential structure fire Tuesday.

First responders were dispatched to the area of Carroll Avenue around noon to a report of a home that was on fire with several neighboring structures.

Arriving units found heavy fire conditions on the basement level and heavy smoke.

Crews quickly located and contained the blaze with no injuries being reported and after several searches of the property no victims were found inside.

Lawrenceburg fire department, New Prospect fire department and Lawrence county EMS as well as Lawrenceburg police department responded.

The fire is being investigated as an arson fire.
