The body of 3-year-old Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney was recovered by law enforcement in Alabama Tuesday, bringing an end to a 10-day search for the girl.

Her remains were found inside a dumpster at a landfill.

Police say she was last seen on the evening of October 12th while attending a party.

Birmingham Chief of Police Patrick Smith said warrants will be issued today (Wednesday) charging Patrick Stallworth and Derick Irisha Brown with kidnapping and capital murder. Both suspects are in police custody.

"We believe that this was something they thought about and act upon and saw an opportunity to take a young child," Smith said.

According to Smith, investigators believe there is no connection between Kamille's family and the suspects.

A routine search led police to Kamille's body.
