Giles County commissioners combined contracts, agreements and grants for approval during the monthly meeting Monday.
Approval was a contract between the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance and Giles County Clerk for the issuance of state building permits; Local archives development grant for $3700 that will be used for shelving; Contract between RJ Young Company and Giles County Sheriff's Department; Contract between Idernia Identity and Security and Giles County Clerk; and Giles County Severe weather preparedness project which is a grant for completion.
Commissioners authorized the approval of surety bonds for Danny Hardy, deputy medical examiner; to enact archives and records management fees used for public records; and participation in the electronic indigency fund.
Also approved was 3 new notaries and 19 renewals during the 9 a.m. meeting.
