A Lawrence county man has been arrested on multiple drug charges.

According to media sources, a deputy with the Wayne County sheriff's department was patrolling when a 2003 GMC past him and pulled over before he could turn on his blue lights.

When asked if there were any illegal drugs in the vehicle, the driver, David Alan Rios, 41, of Lawrenceburg, allegedly advised yes.

A search of the vehicle yielded 23.4 grams of methamphetamine, 21 hydrocodone pills, small plastic bags, and digital scales along with a meth pipe.

Rios was booked into the Wayne County Jail on a 90 thousand dollar bond.
