Lawrence County Schools are investigating "a situation" that took place with a substitute teacher.

It happened at Ingram Sowell Elementary School.

Multiple parents have reached out stating that a substitute teacher made threats toward fourth-grade students who "weren't acting proper."

The school district says “proper action” has been take against the substitute teacher.

Lawrence Schools Director could not be reached for comment.
