Giles County will observe day of Prayer in response to Governor Bill Lee's proclamation tomorrow (Thursday) at the courthouse gazebo.

The 7:30 a.m. event is in recognition of the official day of prayer and fasting for the State of Tennessee issued by the governor.

According to Tammy Alsup, Giles Countians are invited to come together to offer prayers of Thanksgiving, forgiveness, healing and prayers of hope for the families, community and state.

Alsup said area pastors, governmental leaders, law enforcement, moms, dads, kids and those from every area of society who have a heart to believe that God hears prayers are asked to attend.
