In ordinance was approved by the Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen relative to a pay change during their regular monthly meeting.

The ordinance will increase the pay compensation for all members serving on the board. The ordinance will raise the annual salary of an aldermen to $7,200, up from $3,400, and raises the annual salary for the Mayor to $12,000, up from $7,200.

The pay increase will take affect Jan. 1, 2020.

Voting for the ordinance was Aldermen Pat Miles, Jerry Bryant, Randy Massey, Ricky Keith and Hardin Franklin. Voting against was Alderman Vicky Harwell and Mayor Pat Ford.
