Women in Giles County facing a cancer diagnosis are invited to attend the free Feeling Fabulous program hosted by Maury Regional Health on October 28th at noon in the Maury Regional Cancer Center.

A cancer diagnosis impacts patients in a variety of ways, often leading to anxiety and lower self-esteem. Feeling Fabulous is a free event designed to help women with cancer learn how to address the changes their bodies experience as a result of cancer treatments.

Local nutritionists, exercise specialists and stylists volunteer their time to Feeling Fabulous in order to help participants feel their best and more confident.

Feeling Fabulous features a variety of fun and informational activities that cover skin and nail care, strength and balance improvement, wigs and head coverings, nutritional needs and makeup techniques for hair loss and skin changes. Participants will leave with a free makeup kit and are invited to dress in costume for Halloween.

Lunch is provided for all Feeling Fabulous participants, but class size is limited. Register to attend by calling 931-490-7192.
