Bids were opened Tuesday for a City dump and garbage truck during the regular session of Pulaski Board of Mayor and Alderman.

Only one bid was received for the dump truck with Sharp Motor Company bidding $53,231.61.

City Administrator Terry Harrison opened three bids on the garbage Truck. The bids were from CMI Equipment in Goodlettsville and Stringfellow of Nashville.

Harrison was given the permission to review an award the bids.

On first  reading, the board accepted an ordinance to updating the Occupational Safety and Health Program Plan. The public hearing on second reading will be September 10th at 12:05 p.m.

The board authorized advertisement for bids on street paving and for Mayor Pat Ford and Harrison to enter into a memorandum of understanding with Wolf Gap Education Outreach.

Parade permits were approved for Corey and Brooke Medley on October 26th and Free Dental Day on November 22nd.
