AT&T striking workers in Pulaski, Lawrenceburg and Columbia were protesting this week saying that the telecommunication company is not bargaining in good faith over a new contract.

More than 20,000 AT&T workers in nine southern states went on strike over the weekend.

According to media sources, the communications workers of America, advised AT&T is not sending negotiators who have the authority to make decisions  while they deny the claims of bad bargaining practices.

The workers who walked off are technicians and customer service representatives for AT&T landline and business internet and phone divisions and not the cellular division.

The workers represent the state of Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.
