The Giles County Adult Oriented Establishment will have a meeting on September 4th to discuss a permit for Midnight Express on Lewisburg Highway.

A representative from The Midnight Express asked several questions about the permitting process for employees at the July meeting of the Giles County Adult Oriented Establishment Board.

Deja Vu Services Incorporated has announced plans to acquire Midnight Express.

The club is in Giles County and is regulated by the Giles County Adult Oriented Entertainment Board.

In the July meeting Mike Durham, regional manager for Deja Vu, said the club could reopen in August, depending on getting a permitting arrangement worked out.

Giles County Clerk Carol Wade said it probably would take three weeks when asked how long it would take Midnight Express employees to obtain permits.

Wade said the adult entertainment board, not her, approved permits for entertainers.

The board will meet at 4 p.m. in the Basement Boardroom at the Courthouse Annex to discuss the permit.
