A closing sign on the Goody's store in Lawrenceburg has come as a shock to many people in Giles and Lawrence County.

The sign went up this week at many of the Goody's locations and it appears the popular clothing store will be converting to Gordmans.

Goody's and Gordmans are both part of the Stage community of stores and offer off-price apparel.

Gordmans is a 100 year old brand.
