Tennessee Highway Patrol continue its efforts in the fight against drugs and alcohol on the highway.

Theresa Dawn Duke, 47, of Lynnville, was arrested Sunday and charged with Criminal Simulation, Possession without prescription, unlawful drug paraphernalia, Schedule 4 Drug violation, possession of methamphetamine for resale and failure to appear.

Duke is in the Giles County Jail under a $156,500 bond and is to appear in court on August 8th.

Trooper Ashton Cotner was the arresting officer.

According to THP reports,  Lorinzo Martin Perez, of Ardmore, was charged Monday with Driving under the Influence, Leaving Scene of an Accident, Failure to give immediate Notice of Accident and Joyriding.

Perez is in jail on bonds totaling $5,000.

Trooper David Hill was the arresting officer.
