A welfare check Friday on Agnew Road in Giles County lead to the arrest of a St. Joseph man and seizure of 91.6 grams of methamphetamine.

Kyle Davis, 38, was arrested by Deputy Daniel Connor and charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, schedule 4 drugs, drug paraphernalia, prohibited weapons, possession of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, theft of property, simple possession for casual exchange, and driving while license was revoked.

Deputy Connor was assisted by Deputy Dennis Keefer and Trooper Coble of the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Chief Deputy Brandon Beard said drug enforcement starts at the street level and he would like to commend Deputies Connor and Keefer for their thorough patrol investigation leading to the seizure of a large amount of drugs and several unlawful guns off the streets.

Davis is currently being held on a $164,500 bond awaiting his initial court appearance.
