Congressman Mark Green's office announced today that he will be speaking at two upcoming events in Giles County on August 2nd.

The first event will be an informal Veterans meeting held at First National Bank beginning at 1 p.m.

Citizens of Giles County with an interest in veterans affair are asked to attend.

Following the meeting, Congressman Green will speak at Ardmore City Hall on Main Street.

The cities of Elkton and Ardmore will be co-hosting the town hall meeting from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. with allotted time for a question and answer portion at the end.

Congressman Green is a graduate of West Point and a 24 year veteran. He currently serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security, Sub-committee on Intelligence and Counter Terrorism, Transportation, Maritime Security, Oversight and Reform and the National Security.
