If you answer the phone and hear someone ask about wind and storm damage from today's (Wednesday) storms think  twice before responding because it could be a scam.

According to Lieutenant Joey Turner of the Pulaski Police Department, it starts with a call from someone who claims they represent a business asking for the persons address and also personal information.

The Pulaski Police and Sheriff's departments warn against giving out any personal information or sending money to someone calling to sell goods or services. Be very suspicious of a caller who asks for personal information, makes computer related inquires or talks about anything else that involves money.

If you receive a suspicious phone call, call the Police or Sheriff's Departments.
