The Goodwill Career Solutions Center at 405 S. James Campbell Blvd. in Columbia will host a job fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, for eight employers seeking to fill more than 500 positions in Giles, Maury and surrounding counties.

Employers include Core Civic/South Central, Progressive Directions, Department of Corrections/Turney Center, United States Census Bureau, M&M Staffing, Maury County School System, MS Companies and Goodwill.

Openings include correctional officer, senior correctional officer, maintenance, direct support professional, retail associate, production, office and census field representatives, over-the-road drivers, machinist and other positions. Rates of pay reach $17 per hour.

Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
