A woman wanted in connection to a Monday chase leading deputies deep into a corn field is now in custody.

Jessica Fear was apprehended near Summertown Tuesday morning after allegedly leading authorities on a chase through rural roads a day earlier.

She is accused of fleeing from officers on foot Monday morning following a car chase that ended more than 80 yards into a corn field on Anderson Creek Road.

Sheriff's report show deputies found drug paraphernalia inside the abandoned vehicle and suspected that Fear was on methamphetamine during the chase.

Fear allegedly ditched the vehicle and ran off through the field of high corn stalks while a passenger identified as Richard Daniels faces charges of resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The subsequent search for Fear involved several agencies including the deployment of a helicopter for the Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation Division.

The department found Fear inside a residence near where she allegedly fled from a car when pursued by local deputies.
