Just because fireworks are available for purchasing doesn't mean they are legal to set off anywhere you want.

Inside the Pulaski city limits, for instance, shooting fireworks is illegal with an exception for the public display, like the one planned on July 2nd at the Pulaski Recreation Center.

Different kinds of fireworks are available,  but smoke fireworks sold at retailers have been recalled because they can explode unexpectedly when lit.

The Safety Commission say people have been burned by the TNT Red, White, & Blue smoke fireworks. They were sold in a bag containing three canisters: one red, one blue and one white.
