The Giles County Commission will meet in special session   Thursday at 9 a.m. in the county courtroom of the Giles   County Courthouse.

Purpose of  the session is authorizing the amendment of the 2018-2019 budget, county general fund, highway capital projects, general purpose school fund and other capital projects.

Also to make appropriations for the various funds for departments, institutions, offices and agencies of the county for the year beginning July 1 and ending June 30, 2020.

During the meeting, commissioners will decide on the Tax Levy in Giles County for next fiscal year, approval of surety bonds and animal shelter fees.
